Sanity

Much desire I had had
Such burning fire ever lit

Too much pain,
To make me sane

But it was spring time,
Once again

My dreams and wishes:
Ever feigned

My awes of pleasure,
Ever faint

What it was,
This burning heart;

No one really
Ever felt!

So I gave in;
Let me felt:

Something new
That wouldn’t hurt

In through the breeze
Of drizzly days

Some old scent
Did make me feel

In through the faded,
Hidden rays

Some old light
Did make me dream

Yes, through days
of Living Spring

I did Live and
Dared to dream
