Lunatic Episode

I saw the moon, the silver moon

The white full moon

And got sane

‘T was navy night, the stars were bright

There was autumn breeze and

the moon had vaned

I talked to the light of mystic white

It held a rustic glow

And shimmered

The thousand rays of shaky shadows

Would leave the circle,

Leave it dimmed

I felt the oozing pain of Lune

Its loneliness of

Something bitter

The sorrow of the soulful moon

Was all but any

Lonesome matter

The tale of wolves and vamps and more

The shift of twenty

Thousand souls

It glowed with light and brimmed with dark

It bent all shadow,

Broke the stark

The moon of fifty thousand ages

Showed up and gone were

All my rages

  2. The moon.. still so mysterious to us, and pregnant with Myth and Legend and poetry… we’ve even landed on it, but it holds the mystical allure regardless. Enjoyed this meditation on our lady satellite

  4. As a kid …some nights I would sneak out of the house on nights with full moons and watch it while I was walking and I never really noticed how far I had gone until I would finally look down in total amazement every time. The moon can be quite hypnotic. Thank you for your words they reminded me of these times…I had forgotten until now.
